Family Resource & Referral Center's (FRRC) would like to cordially invite you to a "Celebration of Caring", 40th Anniversary Virtual Gala to be held on Thursday, November 12th 2020 in honor of 40 years service to the community. Help us celebrate our 40 year journey of delivering programs and services to strengthen the lives of our community and generations of families.

The organization was founded on a Child Care Resource and Referral grant in order to match parents with licensed child care that best fit their needs. FRRC grew tremendously to provide child care assistance, nutrition services and professional development trainings for Child Care Providers. While the organization has diversified services to include the operation of the Teen IMPACT Center, Joan Richards Learning Village pre-school, the 211 San Joaquin information and referral services and many other Family Strengthening programs, FRRC’s partnership with the Child Care Providers remains at the heart of our mission.

To spotlight the heroic work of Child Care Providers in San Joaquin County, this Gala will pay tribute to their dedication in caring for generations of children. Child Care Providers have risen to the occasion during COVID-19, ensuring that children are safe, supervised, and able to engage in quality distance learning while their parents work. Child Care has a positive impact on our economy by helping parents enter the labor market, and now more than ever, we will depend on Child Care as the economic driver in our recovery from this crisis as businesses re-open and working parents return to work. Throughout the past 40 years FRRC, in partnership with Child Care Providers, has supported thousands of working families and businesses in our region.

Although we did not anticipate celebrating our 40th Anniversary virtually, by attending our event, you are demonstrating your personal commitment to the well-being of Child Care Providers and all families in our county. (The 40th Gala is in lieu of the Action on Behalf of Children Awards this year). Your attendance is also displaying gratitude to FRRC for positively impacting the quality and stability of generations of families.

We can't wait to celebrate with you!
