Family Resource & Referral Center (FRRC) would like to cordially invite you to the 32nd Annual ABC (Action on Behalf of Children) Awards to be held virtually on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 in special recognition of key individuals and organizations who care about children in San Joaquin County. Created in 1988 by Joan Richards, founder of Family Resource and Referral Center (FRRC), and several community members, the awards recognize outstanding members of the community that are doing more than just ‘the average’ for children.


FRRC was founded on a Child Care Resource and Referral grant in order to match parents with licensed child care that best fits their needs. FRRC grew tremendously to provide child care assistance, nutrition services, and professional development trainings for Child Care Providers. While the organization has diversified services to include the operation of the Help Me Grow Call Center, Joan Richards Learning Village Preschool, the 211 San Joaquin information and referral services, and many other Family Strengthening programs, FRRC’s partnership with the Child Care Providers remains at the heart of our mission.


Although we did not anticipate celebrating this year's ABC Awards virtually, by attending our event, you are demonstrating your personal commitment to the well-being of all children and families in our county. Your attendance is also displaying gratitude to FRRC for positively impacting the quality and stability of generations of families.
